Pedro Acevedo is a communication professional who connects passion with purpose and versatility throughout every enterprise he undertakes. As an Associate Editor for La Prensa Latina Bilingual News, he orchestrates the creation of accurate, engaging, and high-quality content while navigating strict deadlines and maintaining a network of contacts throughout the community.
Equipped with a deep understanding of relevant topics and his quick-learning ability, Pedro uses his bilingual writing skills to tackle a variety of issues in a myriad of writing styles. During his college years, he had extensive experience in other areas of communication, including video production, social media managing, podcast creation and visual design. Pedro used that experience to succeed at his previous job as a Communications Intern at an Orlando advertising firm, in his role as Managing Editor for his college newspaper and as media coordinator for the student government association.
Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Pedro came to the U.S. as an exchange student and met who would become his spouse. He is currently completing a graduate certificate in digital marketing and social media management at Adveischool, and in his spare time he enjoys reading, discovering new places and playing with his favorite dachshund, Halen.
